My style of wedding photography is probably best described as creative documentary with contemporary portraiture. Put simply, I’ll record the day as discreetly as possible using my experience and knowledge to be in the right place at the right time to catch all those special moments.

As much as I enjoy the documentary part of wedding photography I am also a big fan of bride and groom portraits. I want to create moments between a couple that look natural and unforced.

I will always meet with couples and visit the wedding venue so a plan can be put in place before the big day.

This preparation – choosing the best locations with the best lighting - enables the day to run as smoothly as possible, ensuring that the bride and groom not only get the most out of their day – but also get the best shots to remember the occasion.

I believe a good rapport between bride and groom and their photographer is also an essential element when it comes to getting the best shots so I will take the time to listen to any requests that a couple may have. Good communication (and a little patience!) with all the guests is also necessary when it comes to producing great moments.

Due to my years as a graphic designer in magazines and newspapers I am always thinking of the end product – the wedding album. Rather than using templates I will personally design all wedding albums resulting in a book that will immortalise your day – forever.

So, if you are searching for a wedding photographer for your special day, please feel free to contact me to see if what I can offer suits your requirements.

I’ll record the day as discreetly as possible using my experience and knowledge to be in the right place at the right time to catch all those special moments.

ALWAYS MEET WITH YOUR POTENTIAL PHOTOGRAPHER...
It’s important to meet any wedding photographer before booking. Make sure your photographer can put you at ease. Remember: They'll be shadowing you, and the more comfortable both of you are with the photographer, the better the photos will turn out. At the same time you don’t want him or her in your face for the day and
totally taking over proceedings. To get the best photos, your photographer needs to be assertive enough to seek out great moments, cajoling enough to coax relaxed smiles and natural stances from guests, and calm enough to be a positive force.

ALWAYS VIEW A FEW FULL WEDDING ALBUMS...
Don't base your decision solely on what you see on a photographer's website or a sample album where every second page has a different bride and groom.
Make sure you see a number of full wedding albums - not just a collection of their best shots over a number of years.
