Dublin Photographer Simon Archer specialises in Pre-school and School Photography.
Based in Portmarnock, Simon is a full time, fully insured professional photographer. Among his portfolio he has a number of creches and montessori schools which he visits throughout the year for photo shoots of the children.
With over 15 years experience in photographing children, and with three children of his own, Simon is well used to putting children at their ease resulting in photos that are casual and relaxed.
Simon believes that children are much more at ease while at their creche or montessori. They are in familiar surroundings and among friends resulting in more natural photos. Also, in many cases, if parents aren’t there it’s even easier to get more relaxed shots! As every pre-school manager or owner knows, once mam or dad leave the tears stop!

How it works
Forms are given to the parents to sign if they wish to have their child photographed. On this form it stresses that there is no obligation to buy.
On a pre-arranged date Simon will visit the creche and set up a mobile studio.
A week or two after the photo shoot framed photos will be returned to the creche. Parents can bring the photos home before they decide to purchase or not so there is no pressure to buy.
If they do not wish to purchase they simply return photos to the creche. If they wish to keep their frames they can pay via bank transfer, Revolut or PayPal. There is also the option to purchase photos without frames.

Graduation Photo Shoot
Graduation shoots are becoming more popular to mark the end of pre-school days.
Parents can purchase photos via order form supplied with different packages and prices to suit all budgets. Alternatively they can be presented to parents as a surprise gift on the last day of term.
Simon Archer Photography can also produce Personalised Magazine Covers for each child graduating.
These are A4 or 10x8” Magazine Style front pages where the details on each cover are unique to each child. You supply the name and information you want on the cover and Simon will design the magazine! It’s a great way to mark the end of a childs pre-school days.
